Android App:
Although most examples and instructions found here will be for use with the BlueLobe board, the BlueLobe Android App allows the user to connect to any Bluetooth device that uses SPP communication and for which the MAC address is known. Examples: BlueLobe board, Arduino BT, Arduino + Bluesmirf, Computers, other phones…

The free version of the software includes six buttons and a response screen. Buttons 1-6 send the characters, ‘q’,’w’,’e’,’r’,’t’,’y’, respectively over the Bluetooth connection to the device. The response screen displays any characters or data that is returned over the Bluetooth connection. The actions performed when these characters are received, along with the response returned, are determined by the programming of the BlueLobe board.
The next version of the BlueLobe software will allow the user to rename buttons, change the characters sent by the buttons, manage multiple BlueLobe boards, and automatically send commands upon coming within range of a BlueLobe board.
